Salt Spring Island's Saturday Market - Summer Months
Talk about a tradition. The word has spread far and wide about what you must do on Saturday mornings when you visit Salt Spring Island—go to 'the' Market. Starting early and ending when the last vendor packs up and calls it a day, the Market is one of the best places to meet people from the island and from all over the world.
Cool Day at the Market
It is Easter weekend on Salt Spring Island and, despite the cool weather for this time of year, there is a good crowd in town for the Salt Spring Island Saturday Market. Local vendors braved the early spring downpour and gave all visitors a great day at the market. All the regulars were there along with a few new artists, artisans and even a few new food vendors. The cool wind only serve to spread all the great aromas around for everyone to enjoy. See you there next week.
